Missouri High School Basketball - Howell Central nips Marquette

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Howell Central Spartans basketball team scored a close 46-44 win over the Marquette Mustangs.
The Spartans (7-0) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Zumwalt West (O'Fallon, MO). The Jaguars come into the Gateway - South contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Fort Zumwalt West edged Lafayette (Wildwood, MO), 46-19, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Eureka Wildcats (Eureka, MO) in a Freelance contest, on Friday, January 10. Marquette will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record.
