In Friday's non-league contest, the host Iola-Scandinavia Thunderbirds basketball team scored a big 69-34 triumph over the Rosholt Hornets.
The Thunderbirds (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Menominee Indian (Keshena, WI). The Eagles go into the Central Wisconsin - East contest with a 1-7 record.
In their next game, the Hornets confront the Suring Eagles (Suring, WI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Rosholt will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record.
