Texas High School Basketball - Johnson overwhelmed by MacArthur

In Friday's non-league test, the MacArthur Brahmas (San Antonio, TX) basketball squad trounced the host Johnson Jaguars (Buda, TX), by a score of 55-21.

Next, the Brahmas clash with the Harlandale Indians (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 28 test, on Tuesday, January 7. MacArthur will attempt to improve on its 19-7 season record. The Indians come into the test with a 11-13 record after their 56-35 league win over South San Antonio (San Antonio, TX).

The Jaguars (5-14) will now prepare for their test against Clemens (Schertz, TX). The Buffaloes come into the 6A Region IV District 29 test with a 4-18 record. In their last test, Clemens was routed by Canyon (New Braunfels, TX), 55-38, in a league test.
