The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 11-6. Quitman won 51-29 in their recent non-league battle against Pascagoula (Pascagoula, MS)
The Pirates now own a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwest Rankin for a 7A Region 3 battle on Tuesday, January 7. Pearl will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 44-41 league win over Brandon (Brandon, MS). The Cougars record now stands at 14-4.
