The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Notre Dame Spartans (East Stroudsburg, PA) and the visiting Salem Christian Eagles (Macungie, PA), observed Notre Dame's basketball team knock off Salem Christian by a score of 44-27.

The Spartans (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Northern Lehigh prevailed over Kutztown (Kutztown, PA), 54-40, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Nativity BVM Green Wave (Pottsville, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Salem Christian will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record.
