In Friday's non-league contest, the host Walled Lake Northern Knights basketball team scored a big 62-32 triumph over the Novi Wildcats.
The Knights (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against South Lyon (South Lyon, MI). The Lions go into the Lakes Valley contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, South Lyon smashed Huron (Ann Arbor, MI), 67-22, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Brighton Bulldogs (Brighton, MI) in a Kensington Lakes - West contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Novi will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 5-2 record after their 49-28 league win over Canton (Canton, MI).
