The Waukon Indians basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Oelwein Huskies to 42 in the Indians non-league triumph on Friday.

The Indians now possess a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Crestwood for a Northeast Iowa game on Friday, January 10.

With the loss, Oelwein falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Huskies host Grundy Center (Grundy Center, IA) to confront the Spartans in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 5-3. Grundy Center lost 46-39 in their recent non-league game against Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA)
