Oregon High School Basketball - St. Helens routs Rainier

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting St. Helens Lions basketball team scored a big 56-24 triumph over the Rainier Columbians.
The Lions (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Sweet Home (Sweet Home, OR). The Huskies go into the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Sweet Home smashed Stevenson (Stevenson, WA), 54-37, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Columbians confront the Banks Braves (Banks, OR) in a 3A Coastal Range contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Rainier will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record.
