With the victory, West Orange-Stark advances its record to 1-16 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Vidor (Vidor, TX) to meet the Pirates in a 4A Region III District 18 battle on Tuesday, January 7. The Pirates enter the battle with a record of 1-13. Vidor lost 50-27 in their recent league battle against Little Cypress-Mauriceville (Orange, TX)

The Panthers now own a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Beauregard for a non-league battle on Monday, January 6. Starks will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 60-52 non-league loss to Iota (Iota, LA). The Trojans record now stands at 6-7.
