The Hobbs Eagles basketball team scored 37 points and limited the host Centennial Hawks to 22 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now have a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Organ Mountain for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. Hobbs will confront a Knights team coming off a 55-32 non-league loss to Centennial (Las Cruces, NM). The Knights record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Centennial falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Hawks host Roswell (Roswell, NM) to confront the Coyotes in a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. The Coyotes go into the game with a record of 0-0.
