The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Kentridge Chargers (Kent, WA) and the host Hazen Highlanders (Renton, WA), observed Kentridge's basketball team overwhelm Hazen by a margin of 64-8.

The Chargers (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Auburn Riverside (Auburn, WA). The Ravens come into the non-league challenge with a 2-8 record. In their last challenge, Auburn Riverside was trounced by Glacier Peak (Snohomish, WA), 32-30, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Highlanders battle the Bellevue Wolverines (Bellevue, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 15. Hazen will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record.
