Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the West Monroe Rebels (West Monroe, LA) and the host Archbishop Chapelle Chipmunks (Metairie, LA), saw West Monroe's soccer squad triumph over Archbishop Chapelle by a count of 5-0.

The Rebels (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against Ursuline Academy (New Orleans, LA). The Lions enter the non-league battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Ursuline Academy was overwhelmed by North DeSoto (Stonewall, LA), 5-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Chipmunks battle the E.D. White Cardinals (Thibodaux, LA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, January 4. Archbishop Chapelle will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Cardinals enter the battle with a 8-5 record after their 2-2 non-league Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA).
