Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Mission Viejo Diablos (Mission Viejo, CA) and the visiting Woodrow Wilson Bruins (Long Beach, CA), saw Mission Viejo's soccer squad hold off Woodrow Wilson by a count of 3-2.
The Diablos (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against El Toro (Lake Forest, CA). The Chargers enter the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, El Toro was edged by Aliso Niguel (Aliso Viejo, CA), 4-2, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Bruins battle the Cabrillo Jaguars (Long Beach, CA) in a Moore battle, on Tuesday, January 7. Woodrow Wilson will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Jaguars enter the battle with a 6-3 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Rancho Alamitos (Garden Grove, CA).
