Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Stockdale Mustangs (Bakersfield, CA) and the host Rosamond Roadrunners (Rosamond, CA), saw Stockdale's soccer squad triumph over Rosamond by a score of 6-0.

The Mustangs (12-1) will now prepare for their battle against Liberty (Bakersfield, CA). The Patriots enter the South Yosemite - River battle with a 7-1 record. In their last battle, Liberty tipped Hart (Newhall, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Roadrunners confront the Bishop Union Broncos (Bishop, CA) in a High Desert battle, on Tuesday, January 7. Rosamond will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Broncos enter the battle with a 6-1 record after their 1-0 league win over Mammoth (Mammoth Lakes, CA).
