The Notre Dame Prep Lancers (Fairfield, CT) ice hockey held off the host Burrillville Broncos (Harrisville, RI), 6-5 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Lancers now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pilgrim for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 4. Notre Dame Prep will encounter a Patriots team coming off a 8-1 non-league win over St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT). The Patriots record now stands at 3-3.
With the defeat, Burrillville moves to 2-6 on the season. The Broncos host La Salle Academy (Providence, RI) to encounter the Rams in a State Championship Division outing on Saturday, January 4.
