The East Greenwich Avengers bounced the host Coventry Oakers ice hockey squad by a tally of 16-2 in Friday's non-league match.
Next, the Avengers clash with the Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 4. East Greenwich will attempt to improve on its 8-1 season record.
The Oakers (0-4) will now prepare for their match against Lincoln (Lincoln, RI). The Lions enter the Division 2 match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Lincoln defeated Coventry (Coventry, RI), 6-3, in a league match.
