The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the St. Raphael Academy Saints (Pawtucket, RI) and the visiting Narragansett Mariners (Narragansett, RI), witnessed St. Raphael Academy's ice hockey team nip Narragansett by a final score of 2-1.
The Saints (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI). The Skippers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, North Kingstown got by South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Mariners battle the West Warwick Wizards (West Warwick, RI) in a Division 2 challenge, on Saturday, January 4. Narragansett will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Wizards come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 11-0 league loss to East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI).
