North Carolina High School Basketball - Asheboro bests Eastern Randolph

The Asheboro Blue Comets basketball team scored 46 points and limited the host Eastern Randolph Wildcats to 36 in the Blue Comets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Blue Comets now possess a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Oak Grove for a game on Tuesday, January 7. Asheboro will play a Grizzlies team coming off a 53-38 non-league win over Randleman (Randleman, NC). The Grizzlies record now stands at 5-0.

With the loss, Eastern Randolph falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC) to play the Cougars in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7.
