The Capuchino Mustangs basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Burton Pumas to 54 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they host South San Francisco for a game on Wednesday, January 8. Capuchino will play a Warriors team coming off a 61-37 non-league loss to Summit Shasta (Daly City, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Burton falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Pumas host Mission (San Francisco, CA) to play the Bears in a game on Monday, January 6. The Bears go into the game with a record of 3-6. Mission lost 37-34 in their recent non-league game against Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA)
