Virginia High School Basketball - Catholic can't hold off King's Fork

King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Catholic Crusaders (Virginia Beach, VA), 60-54 in a non-league match.
With the victory, King's Fork advances its record to 5-0 on the year. The Bulldogs host Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA) to face the Hornets in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 8. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 5-1.
The Crusaders now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oscar Smith for a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. Catholic will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 55-48 non-league win over Granby (Norfolk, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-1.
