The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Selah Vikings (Selah, WA) and the host Columbia Coyotes (Burbank, WA), observed Selah's basketball team overwhelm Columbia by a score of 81-57.

The Vikings (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Othello (Othello, WA). The Huskies come into the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Othello trounced Quincy (Quincy, WA), 44-30, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Coyotes encounter the Granger Spartans (Granger, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Columbia will attempt to improve on its 9-2 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 8-0 record after their 47-39 non-league win over La Salle (Union Gap, WA).
