Virginia High School Basketball - First Colonial nips Great Bridge

In Friday's non-league contest, the host First Colonial Patriots basketball team scored a close 64-59 win over the Great Bridge Wildcats.

The Patriots (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA). The Marlins come into the contest with a 1-1 record.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Granby Comets (Norfolk, VA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 8. Great Bridge will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Comets come into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 55-48 non-league loss to Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA).
