New Mexico High School Basketball - Taos holds off Gallup

The Taos Tigers basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host Gallup Bengals to 42 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now have a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Artesia for a non-league game on Thursday, January 9.
With the loss, Gallup falls to 7-2 on the campaign. The Bengals travel to Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Chargers in a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. The Chargers go into the game with a record of 4-2. Albuquerque Academy won 63-54 in their recent non-league game against Belen (Belen, NM)
