The Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) basketball edged the host Westlake Wolverines (Waldorf, MD), 59-53 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Chargers now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to North Point for a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 8. Lackey will play a Eagles team coming off a 61-30 non-league win over Northern (Owings, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Westlake falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 8. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 0-1.
