The Monte Vista Mustangs bounced the host Pittsburg Pirates basketball squad by a final score of 63-26 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Mustangs face the James Logan Colts (Union City, CA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, January 4. Monte Vista will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Colts enter the outing with a 9-3 record after their 79-41 non-league loss to St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA).
