The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the St. Bernard's Crusaders (Eureka, CA) and the host Yreka Miners (Yreka, CA), observed St. Bernard's's basketball team overcome Yreka by a margin of 63-44.

The Crusaders (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Redding Christian (Palo Cedro, CA). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Redding Christian defeated Trinity (Weaverville, CA), 54-43, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Miners battle the Central Valley Falcons (Shasta Lake, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Yreka will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 1-12 record after their 53-35 non-league loss to Live Oak (Live Oak, CA).
