Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Bowie Bulldogs (Austin, TX) and the host Waco Lions (Waco, TX), saw Bowie's soccer squad knock off Waco by a count of 2-0.

The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Walnut Grove (Prosper, TX). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Walnut Grove tipped Westlake (Austin, TX), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Lions confront the Lovejoy Leopards (Lucas, TX) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, January 4. Waco will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Leopards enter the battle with a 1-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Kingwood Park (Kingwood, TX).
