Eisenhower Eagles (Houston, TX) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Hardin-Jefferson Hawks (Sour Lake, TX), 8-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Eisenhower moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Splendora (Splendora, TX) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league test on Saturday, January 4. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 3-0. Splendora won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Kelly Catholic (Beaumont, TX)

The Hawks now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hamshire-Fannett for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 7. Hardin-Jefferson will meet a Longhorns team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hudson (Lufkin, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 0-2.
