In Friday's non-league outing, the host Episcopal of Acadiana Falcons soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Metairie Park Country Day Cajuns.
The Falcons (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against New Iberia (New Iberia, LA). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league outing with a 2-9 record. In their last outing, New Iberia was edged by Lafayette (Lafayette, LA), 6-2, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Cajuns play the Teurlings Catholic Rebels (Lafayette, LA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, January 4. Metairie Park Country Day will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Rebels go into the outing with a 10-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Catholic (Baton Rouge, LA).
