Escondido Cougars (Escondido, CA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Mission Vista (Oceanside, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Escondido moves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA) to meet the Matadors in a non-league test on Monday, January 6. The Matadors come into the test with a record of 3-3. Mount Miguel lost 1-0 in their recent non-league test against El Capitan (Lakeside, CA)

The now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mt. Carmel for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 7. Mission Vista will meet a Sundevils team coming off a 0-0 non-league Westview (San Diego, CA). The Sundevils record now stands at 0-5.
