In Monday's non-league outing, the AGBU Titans (Canoga Park, CA) basketball squad edged the host Holy Martyrs Armenian Armens (Encino, CA), by a count of 52-49.
The Titans (18-4) will now prepare for their outing against Milken (Los Angeles, CA). The Wildcats go into the Liberty outing with a 7-16 record. In their last outing, Milken was tipped by Pilibos (Los Angeles, CA), 65-56, in a league outing.
The Armens now hold a 14-12 record. They play next when they travel to de Toledo for a Independence outing on Wednesday, February 1. Holy Martyrs Armenian will clash with a Jaguars squad coming off a 66-45 league loss to Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 19-5.
