The Park Center Pirates (Brooklyn Park, MN) basketball crushed the host Blaine Bengals (Blaine, MN), 97-70 in Monday's non-league test.
The Pirates (15-0) will now prepare for their test against Spring Lake Park (Spring Lake Park, MN). The Panthers go into the AAAA Section 5 test with a 5-11 record. In their last test, Spring Lake Park walloped Coon Rapids (Coon Rapids, MN), 78-67, in a non-league test.
The Bengals now own a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to Anoka for a AAAA Section 7 test on Wednesday, February 1. Blaine will encounter a Tornadoes squad coming off a 73-63 non-league win over Robbinsdale Armstrong (Plymouth, MN). The Tornadoes record now stands at 8-7.
