Maryland High School Basketball - Blake knocked off by Churchill

The Churchill Bulldogs basketball team scored 86 points and held the visiting Blake Bengals to 71 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Monday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clarksburg for a Montgomery 4A West contest on Friday, February 3. Churchill will battle a Coyotes team coming off a 61-54 league win over Sherwood (Sandy Spring, MD). The Coyotes record now stands at 11-7.
The Bengals (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Whitman (Bethesda, MD). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Whitman ran past Wootton (Rockville, MD), 60-40, in a league contest.
