Field Kindley Golden Tornado (Coffeyville, KS) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Caney Valley Bullpups (Caney, KS), 59-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Field Kindley upgrades its record to 3-6 on the season. The Golden Tornado host Pittsburg (Pittsburg, KS) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 8-3. Pittsburg won 57-44 in their recent non-league bout against Ottawa (Ottawa, KS)

Next up, the Bullpups play the Bluestem Lions (Leon, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Caney Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 0-13 record after their 69-40 non-league loss to Humboldt (Humboldt, KS).
