The Carrington Cardinals (Carrington, ND) basketball nipped the visiting Maple Valley Raiders (Tower City, ND), 56-55 in Monday's non-league test.
The Cardinals (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Sargent County (Milnor, ND). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 13-0 record.
The Raiders now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Hankinson for a B Region 1 test on Thursday, February 2. Maple Valley will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 79-73 non-league loss to Tiospa Zina (Agency Village, SD). The Pirates record now stands at 5-6.
