Alabama High School Basketball - Highland Home topped by Carroll

The Carroll Eagles basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Highland Home Flying Squadron to 50 in the Eagles non-league victory on Monday.

The Eagles now sport a 22-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Barbour County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Carroll will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 95-90 league win over Abbeville (Abbeville, AL). The Jaguars record now stands at 16-3.

The Flying Squadron (14-7) will now prepare for their contest against Georgiana (Georgiana, AL). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 16-9 record. In their last contest, Georgiana was defeated by Luverne (Luverne, AL), 53-52, in a non-league contest.
