Chester Flyers (Chester, SD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Colman-Egan C-E Hawks (Colman, SD), 41-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Chester upgrades its record to 5-10 on the season. The Flyers travel to Parker (Parker, SD) to play the Pheasants in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Pheasants go into the bout with a record of 2-11. Parker lost 67-47 in their recent league bout against Canton (Canton, SD)

Next up, the C-E Hawks play the Estelline/Hendricks (Estelline, SD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 2. Colman-Egan will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 73-56 non-league win over Waverly/South Shore (Waverly, SD).
