Huntington Beach Oilers (Huntington Beach, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Chino Hills Huskies (Chino Hills, CA), 83-79 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Huntington Beach upgrades its record to 12-14 on the season. The Oilers travel to Corona del Mar (Newport Beach, CA) to clash with the Sea Kings in a Wave bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Sea Kings go into the bout with a record of 16-9. Corona del Mar won 55-51 in their recent league bout against Laguna Beach (Laguna Beach, CA)

Next up, the Huskies clash with the Upland Highlanders/Scots (Upland, CA) in a Baseline bout, on Wednesday, February 1. Chino Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 9-16 season record. The Highlanders/Scots go into the bout with a 13-12 record after their 70-48 league loss to Etiwanda (Etiwanda, CA).
