Iowa High School Basketball - Crestwood thwarts St. Ansgar

The Crestwood Cadets (Cresco, IA) basketball knocked off the visiting St. Ansgar Saints (St. Ansgar, IA), 60-49 in Monday's non-league test.
The Cadets (12-5) will now prepare for their test against Waverly-Shell Rock (Waverly, IA). The Go-Hawks go into the Northeast Iowa test with a 12-4 record. In their last test, Waverly-Shell Rock notched a victory over Mason City (Mason City, IA), 68-54, in a non-league test.
The Saints now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Northwood-Kensett for a Corn Bowl test on Tuesday, January 31. St. Ansgar will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 75-55 non-league loss to Newman Catholic (Mason City, IA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-13.
