The Damascus Hornets (Damascus, MD) basketball felled the visiting Northwest Jaguars (Germantown, MD), 73-56 in Monday's non-league test.
The Hornets (17-0) will now prepare for their test against Seneca Valley (Germantown, MD). The Screamin' Eagles go into the non-league test with a 10-7 record. In their last test, Seneca Valley thwarted Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Bethesda, MD), 65-60, in a non-league test.
The Jaguars now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they host Magruder for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 1. Northwest will encounter a Colonels squad coming off a 51-45 non-league loss to Gaithersburg (Gaithersburg, MD). The Colonels record now stands at 10-6.
