The Maloney Spartans basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Edwin O. Smith Panthers to 37 in the Spartans non-league win on Monday.
The Spartans (7-6) will now prepare for their outing against Bristol Eastern (Bristol, CT). The Lancers go into the non-league outing with a 8-5 record. In their last outing, Bristol Eastern was beaten by Platt (Meriden, CT), 73-47, in a non-league outing.
The Panthers now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they host Newington for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 2. Edwin O. Smith will clash with a Nor'easters squad coming off a 57-46 non-league win over New Britain (New Britain, CT). The Nor'easters record now stands at 9-4.
