In Monday's non-league match, the host Meek Tigers basketball team scored a good 63-49 triumph over the Falkville Blue Devils.
In their next game, the Tigers meet the Phillips Bears (Bear Creek, AL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 31. Meek will attempt to better on its 20-7 season record. The Bears enter the match with a 12-7 record after their 92-77 non-league win over Lamar County (Vernon, AL).
With the defeat, Falkville moves to 0-11 on the year.
