The Hampden Broncos (Hampden, ME) basketball knocked off the host Skowhegan River Hawks (Skowhegan, ME), 73-62 in Monday's non-league test.
The Broncos (8-7) will now prepare for their test against Deering (Portland, ME). The Rams go into the AA North test with a 0-15 record. In their last test, Deering went down by Windham (Windham, ME), 68-51, in a league test.
The River Hawks now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Brewer for a A North test on Friday, February 3. Skowhegan will encounter a Witches squad coming off a 75-40 league win over Erskine Academy (South China, ME). The Witches record now stands at 16-0.
