The Harlan Cyclones basketball team (Harlan, IA), was toppled 66-52 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Winterset Huskies (Winterset, IA)
The Huskies now possess a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Polk for a Raccoon River battle on Tuesday, January 31. Winterset will confront a Comets team coming off a 47-44 non-league loss to Clarke (Osceola, IA). The Comets record now stands at 12-3.
The Cyclones (8-6) will now prepare for their battle against Kuemper (Carroll, IA). The Knights come into the Hawkeye Ten battle with a 12-5 record. In their last battle, Kuemper was toppled by Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA), 50-42, in a league battle.
