The NC GBB Academy Eagles basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the visiting Howard Eagles to 51 in the Eagles league victory on Monday.

The Eagles now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mitchener University Academy for a CAASC Central Carolina - West contest on Wednesday, February 1. NC GBB Academy will battle a Tigers team coming off a 40-39 league loss to Iron Academy (Raleigh, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 3-10.

The Eagles (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Commission Leadership Academy (Youngsville, NC). The Griffins come into the CAASC Triangle contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Commission Leadership Academy was routed by Fletcher Academy (Raleigh, NC), 53-49, in a non-league contest.
