Michigan High School Basketball - North Central can't hold off Iron Mountain

The Iron Mountain Mountaineers basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting North Central Jets to 58 in the Mountaineers non-league victory on Monday.

The Mountaineers now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Iron County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Iron Mountain will battle a Wykons team coming off a 73-32 non-league loss to Norway (Norway, MI). The Wykons record now stands at 0-14.

The Jets (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against Carney-Nadeau (Carney, MI). The Wolves come into the Central Upper Peninsula contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Carney-Nadeau was nudged by Forest Park (Crystal Falls, MI), 76-50, in a league contest.
