The La Crescent Lancers (La Crescent, MN) basketball knocked off the visiting Lourdes Eagles (Rochester, MN), 58-47 in Monday's league test.
The Lancers (13-5) will now prepare for their test against Lewiston-Altura (Lewiston, MN). The Cardinals go into the AA Section 1 test with a 6-9 record. In their last test, Lewiston-Altura went down by Cannon Falls (Cannon Falls, MN), 87-62, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 8-11 record. They play next when they host Lake City for a AA Section 1 test on Tuesday, January 31. Lourdes will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 53-41 non-league loss to Stewartville (Stewartville, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 15-1.
