Paul VI Eagles (Haddonfield, NJ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mastery Warrior (Camden, NJ), 66-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Paul VI upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Eagles travel to Camden (Camden, NJ) to play the Panthers in a Olympic - National bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 17-2. Camden won 60-57 in their recent non-league bout against Imhotep Charter (Philadelphia, PA)

Next up, the Warrior play the Solebury Spartans (New Hope, PA) in a Penn-Jersey bout, on Thursday, February 2. Mastery will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 8-15 record after their 74-58 non-league loss to Hill School (Pottstown, PA).
