The Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles basketball team scored 80 points and held the host Minneota Vikings to 62 in the Eagles league triumph on Monday.
The Eagles now sport a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edgerton for a A Section 3 contest on Tuesday, January 31. Southwest Minnesota Christian will battle a Flying Dutchmen team coming off a 75-39 non-league loss to Mountain Lake/Comfrey/Mountain Lake Christian (Mountain Lake, MN). The Flying Dutchmen record now stands at 1-11.
The Vikings (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Tracy-Milroy-Balaton (Tracy, MN). The Panthers enter the A Section 3 contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Tracy-Milroy-Balaton ran past Ortonville (Ortonville, MN), 65-38, in a non-league contest.
