The Mobridge-Pollock Tigers (Mobridge, SD) basketball nipped the visiting Roncalli Cavaliers (Aberdeen, SD), 58-51 in Monday's non-league test.
The Tigers (4-7) will now prepare for their test against Cheyenne-Eagle Butte (Eagle Butte, SD). The Braves go into the A Region 6 test with a 1-12 record. In their last test, Cheyenne-Eagle Butte got by Stanley County (Fort Pierre, SD), 55-46, in a league test.
The Cavaliers now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they host Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 31. Roncalli will encounter a Battlers squad coming off a 79-65 non-league loss to Northwestern Area (Mellette, SD). The Battlers record now stands at 1-11.
